Without rapport there is no starting point. People ask right off the bat why is this person talking to me and what does she want? For some of us building and maintaining rapport comes natural. We remember how your kid had the big recital this past weekend and we remember to ask about it. For others, usually us men, it might not come so natural, but we always remember what you are working on.
Into 2026 we go. I hope you can build stronger teams by building rapport. It’s real simple, pay attention to the people around you.
